Who We Are

CS Construction, Inc. (CSCI) was founded in Phoenix in 1980 and holds a class A General Engineering license, operating both as a prime contractor and a subcontractor on a variety of heavy civil and commercial projects. We have two divisions: Highway Electrical/ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) and Concrete Structures.

Our Highway Electrical/ITS Division is the largest in Arizona for this scope and self performs work such as Traffic Signals, Street Lighting, Broadband Fiber Optic Cabling/Splicing/Integration, HAWK Pedestrian Crossings, CCTV Cameras, Sports Lighting, Digital Message Signs and Large Highway Signs. CSCI covers the entire scope including trenching/boring, conduit installation, wire/fiber installation, foundations, splicing, APS/SRP power, and complete signalized intersections.

The Concrete Structures division constructs projects ranging from Vehicular and Pedestrian Bridges, Box Culverts, Retaining Walls, Concrete Drainage Channels, Drainage Structures, Portland Cement Concrete Paving, Concrete Water Tanks, Water Features, and other misc. concrete structures. CSCI is experienced in bridge installations throughout Arizona and has done numerous projects requiring formliner/rustification, integrally colored concrete, exposed aggregate, sandblasting and other aesthetic finishes.

Customers include agencies and municipalities such as ADOT, MCDOT, City of Scottsdale, City of Mesa, Town of Gilbert, Queen Creek, City of Surprise, etc. General Contractor clients include Willmeng, Haydon Building Corp., Sundt, FNF, Rummel, DCS, etc. CSCI is highly experienced and proficient at Alternative Delivery Method projects including CM@R, Design Build, Job Order Contracts and PPP. CSCI can provide excellent value and capability in preconstruction services including constructability reviews and budgeting as projects move through 30%, 60%, 90% plans.
