Description: CS Construction was the Prime Contractor for the City of Scottsdale to increase the capacity of the Upper Camelback Wash during storm events. CSCI provided a Value Engineering Proposal to the City which saved over $400,000 in concrete drainage structure costs.
CSCI self performed over 9,000 CY of concrete drainage structures including 13 box culverts, reinforced concrete U-Channel, trapezoidal drainage channel and headwall structures.
CSCI also managed wet and dry utility relocations, phased asphaltic concrete replacement, significant channel grading and retention basin excavation, and landscape restoration and improvements.
CSCI worked with multiple Homeowner’s Associations in Northeast Scottsdale to minimize the disruption of the construction process for residents.
