Description: CS Construction was the Prime Contractor for the City of Scottsdale to increase the capacity of the Upper Camelback Wash during storm events. CSCI provided a Value Engineering Proposal to the City which saved over $400,000 in concrete drainage structure costs.

• CSCI self performed over 9,000 CY of concrete drainage structures including 13 box culverts, reinforced concrete U-Channel, trapezoidal drainage channel and headwall structures.

• CSCI also managed wet and dry utility relocations, phased asphaltic concrete replacement, significant channel grading and retention basin excavation, and landscape restoration and improvements.

• CSCI worked with multiple Homeowner’s Associations in Northeast Scottsdale to minimize the disruption of the construction process for residents.
